Maison de déménagement de luxe · Paris
Luxury movers, in Paris.
Griffon Movers is the Parisian house called upon for residences that cannot be entrusted to a removal van · hôtels particuliers in the 7th and 8th, Haussmannian apartments in Passy, family seats held across two or three jurisdictions, private collections that travel with their owners.
A single Mission Lead — Responsable de Mission — conducts the preliminary visit, signs the quotation, and remains present until the final crate is unpacked. No intermediary, no local correspondent taking over at destination. One signature, one liability, one closing photograph.
Three signed projects follow. They describe better than any grid what the Maison does when called.
An hôtel particulier, near Les Invalides.
Thirteen hundred square metres on a courtyard and garden in the 7th. The house changes hands by succession. Three heirs across three continents. The Maison spends two days on the preliminary visit · room by room with the eldest, inventory by voice, photograph by photograph.
The contents are not counted in cubic metres but in five consignments · New York, the south of France, Australia, a vente aux enchères, and the family residence at Deauville. Two hundred and eighty cubic metres total. Seventy stay in Deauville as a place of memory while the family deliberates.
Eight months from first contact to keys handed over at five destinations. The rest remains in our archives.
Ninety cubic metres, suspended at Hormuz.
A client leaves an apartment in the 8th for a duplex at Dubai Marina. Twenty cubic metres go by air · the haute couture wardrobe, archives, light works on paper. The remaining seventy travel by sea from Le Havre.
While the container awaits a stable routing window, tensions rise in the Strait of Hormuz. The war risk surcharge — ordinarily three hundred dollars per container — exceeds three thousand. The Mission Lead presents the options. The client elects to wait.
The container enters climate-controlled storage, conditions monitored continuously. The air freight is delivered, installed, hung on the walls of Dubai. The client settles with what she needs to live. The rest will come when the window opens.
Seven apartments, twenty-four months in storage.
An international five-star hospitality group closes seven apartments of a Courchevel palace for a complete renovation. One thousand two hundred pieces of signed furniture, some acquired directly from Parisian ateliers, must leave and return two seasons later — same place, same condition.
The Maison crates each piece, photographs every assembly. The furniture sleeps twenty-four months in climate-controlled storage at sixteen to twenty degrees Celsius, forty-five to fifty-five per cent relative humidity. Inspection is bi-monthly · written report delivered to the operator after each visit.
On the return, repositioning is done to the centimetre using entry photographs. The same hand that quoted closes the project at the keys. Not a crate lost, not a position approximate.
The Maison underwrites its liability with AXA France IARD. Each operative signs an individual confidentiality undertaking before entering the residence.
